Nintendo Co., Ltd. had a sense of humor when they created the Famicom Disk System. Anyone who's ever owned the system knows that when it's turned on, but no game has been inserted, Mario and Luigi are ready to remind you to "Please Set Disk Card" or turn the damn thing off. Ah yes, Nintendo playing the role of parent.

Here are a few of the dramatic moments in the Mario and Luigi drama:

Luigi sneaks in to turn off the Nintendo sign.

And that's how it unfolds. Just rinse and repeat. The darn Disk System will endlessly play this little scene, with minor variations, until you insert a disk or shut off the system.
