It was so exciting!
This cart, with Wario Land on the label was
headed my way. Then, the excitement dwindled:
Wario Land on the label, but no Wario Land
on the board.
Damn.

They couldn't even put the label on straight!
This cartridge, Super 111 in 1, is one of
the "new wave" of pirates. In the late '90s and even
just after the turn of the century, pirate makers
continued to produce cartridges for the Famicom,
even though the 8-bit era had ended years before.
You can tell that this is from that "new wave" of
Famicom pirates because of the label art: it's
flashy, with great pictures and unique font. It's
also got a game on it you wouldn't expect to find on
any 8-bit cart. Of course, the makers of this
particular cart screwed up the label, putting it on
crooked and melting the glossy top layer.
The only interesting feature of this cart is the
game select screen. It has a still shot of Ninja
on the bottom half of the screen. The song that
plays while you scroll through the 111 games is
"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."
Because this cart purports to have Wario Land
on it, it was purchased for $11. But it isn't worth
that much because, of course, it doesn't have
Wario Land and really only has five games on it
that are repeated over and over again. I'd chuck
this one in the junk pile.
Here's the games list:
