4 in 1: Pokemon

This 4 in 1 multi-cartridge is one of the later releases of pirates, likely in the late 90s. The cartridge has four games on it, each of them either originals or hacks. Not many multi-carts were made that include games related to each other by name or character, in this case Pokémon. Some of the other multi-carts like this include the 11 games of the Nekketsu Kunio-kun series and the six games of the Rockman series.

Luckily, this cart actually has Pokemon on it.

But, of course, this multi-cart is different. No Pokémon game was ever officially released for the Famicom. The Pokémon craze came in the years after, and that's one of the reasons why it's easy to say this cart comes from the late 90s.

As you might tell from the screenshots, the above games include at least three minor hacks, where only the main character was changed to a Pokémon character. The last of these screenshots is the most recognizable: Pajama Hero Nemo.

A four-game multi-cart is never worth much, but because this has three unique hacks and possibly a Hong Kong original, I'd value it between $20 and $35. For some reason, Pokémon games are not as highly sought after as Street Fighter 2 or the Mario hacks.

Here's the games list:

Pocket Monster; Pokémon Silver; Pokémon Red; Pokémon Blue.
