Master Fighter is the alternative name give
to the common Street Fighter 2 port.
Street Fighter 2 was a 16-bit game, but
ingenious pirate developers were able to bring it to
the Famicom.

This is a common Master Fighter label.
Though one of the best fighter games of the
16-bit era, along with Mortal Kombat, this
Street Fighter port has ridged controls that
make the game difficult to play. The same is true of
most of the fighter ports. There was several
different Street Fighter ports made for the Famicom.
this one plays like in tournament mode, which starts
you fighting against on fighter and, if you win, you
move on to the next. You don't get to select your
fighter or those you fight. Other ports allow you to
select those.
Some of the Street Fighter ports include
in their title the number of fighters in the game,
for instance "Street Fighter: 12 Peoples." Pirate
developers competed for a piece of the pirate market
by putting as many fighters in the game as possible.
The highest number in a game is 54, but that
includes duplicate fighters who have minor changes
in their features.
Because people are stupid, they often don't
realize that Master Fighter is, in fact,
Street Fighter. So, it's possible to get
Master Fighter for about half the price of
Street Fighter.
