Most collectors know
the pirate originals: Super Mario World,
Donkey Kong Country, Boogerman, Sonic
the Hedgehog, etc. But most collectors don't
have a clue what Pao Ching Tien is. Well,
it's one of those few pirate originals that was
never intended for a market beyond China.
A pirate original that no one is looking for.
Presumably, Pao Ching Tien is the name of some
Chinese historical figure, at least that's the
impression you get when the game starts up. The game
is simple, with this guy and his sword whacking
enemies in a platformer. It's nothing exciting, but
is a gem for anyone who seriously collects pirate
originals.
No one is looking for this game, and most people
simply don't know it exists. It's very hard to find,
but will sell cheap. You shouldn't pay much more
than $10 for the game.
