Take a look at this cart. It looks cheap. It's got a
creative but unusual name for a Famicom pirated
cartridge: Power-Joy. It has a number on it:
PJ-008, presumably number eight in a series of who
knows how many Power-Joy cartridges. That
label has got to be something I could make up and
print out in five seconds, if I wanted to...

As generic as they get, my friends.
...but it's awesome! This one's got 84 games on
it. Which is a high number for a pirate. Usually
once you get passed 50 games on a single cartridge,
the makers start putting a bunch of repeats on it;
however, this one is unique. It's got 84 different
games, though I admit, they're from the common pick
of Famicom pirated games. What's amazing about this
cart is that it's probably the best quality pirate
I've come across!
One of the neatest features of this cartridge is
a rare hack of Super Mario Bros. called
Pandamar (which I presume is short for "Panda
Mario"). The developers changed nearly all the
sprites from the original Super Mario Bros.
I was shocked when I first held the Power-Joy in my hands. It has 84 games on it and
weighs nothing! It's so light that I never expected to find
84 different games on the board. They packed the
games on there nice and tight, I guess -- maybe as a
glob-top.
Expect to pay anywhere from $7 to $25 for
multi-carts, depending on the number of games
indicated by the label. This one was a beautiful find at
only $3. If enough people would come to realize how
cool Pandamar is, this cart might sell for as
much as $30. All hail the Power-Joy!
