Super Mario 9
is a hack of Adventure Island. Adventure
Island alone is a fun game, and with Mario added
into the mix, it's at least a little bit more
intriguing, that is, if you're tired of the same old
game.
Not the most exciting label, but nice.
The start screen of Adventure Island has
been hacked. It now says the game is "Super Mario
World 9," which it isn't, though I wish it were. The
start screen also has an option allowing the gamer
to select the island of their choice by typing in
the "R-L-R-L-A-B-A-B" code shown on the screen.
"Super Mario World" -- I wish.
A map with another mini-Mario, as expected.
Mario, with big ears, rides a skateboard.
Mario on the back of that dino...I don't know its
name.
There's nothing incredible about Super Mario 9.
It's cool, but it ain't no Super Mario World.
Oh well. But, if you come across it, pick it up.
Hacks are too cool to pass up.
