Nakayama Miho no Tokimeki High School was a Disk
System game in which you worked to obtain Japanese
model Nakayama Miho's phone number. There was
mention of a fifth event, similar to the four
previous tournaments, in the Famicom Grand Prix F1
Race prize letter, calling it "Event Idol Hotline."
It's known
that after having obtained the phone number in
Nakayama Miho no Tokimeki High School you
could call it to speak with a recording or woman who
was supposed to be Miho. But it's also likely
that upon having gotten the number, you could
somehow submit it for a prize. This may be what the fifth event was
all about: getting that phone number and then the
prize. It's likely that a fixed number of prizes
were given out to the first so many gamers who sent
in for it, just like with the others.
The prize was
a VHS tape featuring Miho. We have no idea
what's on the tape, and our attempt to find out is a
tragic story: We had the tape in our possession,
popped it in to watch, and the VHS player ate it,
destroying whatever was to be seen. We'll find
another one!
THE
PRIZE

The VHS videotape sleeve.

The
videotape insert letting you know its a "Present
From MIHO."

A special message from Miho.
The card
reads:
Nakayama
Miho's Tokimeki High School
Hello, my name
is Miho Nakayama.
Thank you very
much for participating in the Famicom event
"Nakayama Miho's Tokimeki High School." And
congratulations on winning a prize!
I send you an
autographed videotape. Please be careful with it.
I will remember the drama (game) we starred together
in forever as a precious memory, and I'm going to do
my best in songs and dramas in the future. I'll be
happy if you also remembered this as a precious
memory. And please watch over me from now on
forever.
Well then, I'm
looking forward to the day we'll meet again.
from MiHo
