STAGE 1

The first fighter you face is a "bojutsu," or bo, fighter named Wang. Heh, he knows how to use his stick. He swings it forward most of the time but also can do the splits and perform a low attack with great range. Not only does Wang use his bo, but he also kicks, which makes close combat difficult. Your best bet is to use the wall to not only avoid Wang but to also come back with a nice kick to the chops. Jumpkicks suffice, too.

Stage 2: Tao

STAGE 2

Next up is a bald fighter who breathes fire. (Bald...I just realized that all the fighters except Lang, a female, are bald) Tao can spit a fireball at high, mid, and low heights just to piss you off. He likes to attack from afar so jump kick him and attack any way you want, but watch out for his kicks and punches. After a few seconds of close combat, Tao will retreat to the opposite side of the screen. Hit him if he tries to run by. By the way, you can hit the fireballs he spits for extra points.

Stage 3: Chen

STAGE 3

Stage 3 has the toughest fighter in the game: Chen. You'll learn to hate this fat man. With a long chain that extends half way across the screen, he will keep you at bay. He can launch his chain forward across the floor, over his head, or at arm's height. Chen is the fiercest and most aggressive guy in the game; he just keeps attacking. Not only that, though, his chain, upon hitting you, registers as two hits!. Also, he can dodge your attacks! Basically, if he swings the chain overhead, duck. Any other swing and you should probably try a wall jump, that way you can retaliate quickly with a jumpkick. Get hits in (crouched kicks/punches) while you can. If your quick enough, you can also kick the end of the chain when it comes at you.

Bonus Stage

BONUS STAGE

The next level is a bonus stage that has objects flying at you from both sides of the room. Destroy each of these with hits to get points. Get a "Perfect" to earn a life.

Stage 4: Lang

STAGE 4

Your next challenge is the only girl in the game -- Lang -- who uses shurikens, four-tipped, knife-sharp stars. She basically attacks like Tao (the fireball guy) but more frequently. Not only that, she's more evasive, and because of her small size, she's hard to hit. Dodge the stars and go for jumpkicks. Punch or crouch kick her if she tries to retreat to the opposite side of the room.

fficult to hit

Stage 5: Mu

STAGE 5

The final fighter is another bald-headed guy whose attack is similar to Raiden's from Mortal Kombat. Mu will leap at you from across the room but is easy to dodge. In fact, this is the easiest fighter in the game, which is unexpected since he's the final fighter. Mu can kick but is still nothing a few jumpkicks and punches won't take care of. After a few seconds of being too close to him, he will retreat like the others do, so dodge his flying attacks and hit him some more until he defeated.

Stage 6+: Chen

Stage 6+: Tao

STAGE 6+

After beating Mu, Lee will jump up and kick the gong in the background. Now, the order of the fighters will repeat with more difficulty and a new color for the arena. As you can see in these shots, the arena colors are changed for every five levels Lee completes; As you continue, beware the difficulty of the fighters!
