Do we have an IRC? ??? I'm pretty sure we don't, but I just want to make sure. :-[
We don't. Is there any interest in it?
Sounds cool to me.
I would partake in an IRC channel.
From experience with another forum, it doesn't bring much/anything
it reminds me about this -> http://www.famicomworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=9426.0
Can you imagine what Russam would have done if we had an IRC... Or better yet, the relentless onslaught of Bahadir questions? One can only imagine.

IRC provides the same degree of controlling user actions just like as this board does.
The channel operator could ban, mute, etc...
I could try setting one up and seeing how it goes.
Does anyone have a preferred network?
I use Quakenet for my forum's IRC channel. I think it works great, you can register your username easily, and you can also request a bot (called Q) to your channel which helps out a lot.
Looks good to me. I'll try to set something up this weekend if I can find the time.

Alright, I setup a chat on quakenet.

You should probably register an account with Q, if you haven't already:
