So you've seen an awesome video on Youtube and think 'Have my friends on FW already seen it?', and then you feel the urge to share it with them. What do you do? Create a thread like this one ;D
Brawl Taunts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeQ68MRKDf8Brawl Taunts 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMqrcKBcC0AYoutube Pooped version of the first one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJIEfynXoRYQuote
Some tips:
1) Post the title before the video URL, so others get to know if they've already seen it
2) Avoid posting a long URL like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1WWpKEPdT4&feature=related&eurl=http://www.retrogames.cl/foro/viewtopic.php?p=42040
You can strip everything after the first & sign you see on the URL and it'll work fine. So that last one would turn out like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1WWpKEPdT4
Nicer huh? :)
Also, why do I use hard URLs instead of hyperlinks? Because on this forum it's very easy to miss a link because they don't get highlighted in any way!

Does anybody know where I can buy this? :P
Seriously though, I want it.
It says it requires a projector. The special fabric wouldn't do anything without it.
Oh.
So it's like those card flipping things :(
I thought the back of it had a few small cameras, and It something something something where you were.

A few of these OS songs exist, but I think this one is the best
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcBCIG4ZFw0
Also another trick i discovered a while back, if a video says you must be 18 or over, change the URL from
youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXX
to
youtube.com/v/XXXXXXX
My favorite OS song is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsU3B0W3TMs
previously ridiculously long link (http://www.youtube.com/watch_videos?more_url=%2Fmy_subscriptions&video_ids=8cMg243EGxI%2CHRNwrQ6rPnE%2C2SblPeKixWc%2CI8f4xeVQbJU%2CXEOiPBSXIDc%2CxdNnTN3VUP4%2CJPuJY9aCsJ8%2CP91fDk5CMKI%2CwFMlck4bQh0%2CbUsZrNe6erg%2CaKh_uI5Ofxg%2C0ryWLI9UZW4&type=1&feature=sub&no_autoplay=1) - Weird at first but it'll throw you in.
mod edit: please try to post links in a way that doesn't break the page layout. thanks. :)

Post your latest video. :P

I merged this topic with the Video Sharing thread. If you uploaded a video and you think it's something that FW users will find interesting/cool/funny, then don't hesitate to post it.
If anyone thinks this should be split back into two separate topics, just say.

Oh we have a video topic? Gues I should do some search before posting youtube links in the imagespam thread...
Haha, I also didn't remember we had a video topic.
I'm sure there are a lot of interesting topics buried deep down...

Back to the Future, anyone?
Might as well coincide with the masses on random videos rather then latest creations, which is entirely different in many regards. ::)
Here is Ashen's Christmas compilation with a crazy bonus at the end. When I saw the bonus tat review I almost threw my chair across the room caused by a reaction to it... Watch and you'll see. :yoshi:

Too bad Nintendo doesn't have a Zelda compilation for the Super Nintendo to release on the Wii, though they could rehash the Zelda Collection for the Gamecube. ::)

Realistic music in NES games :D
You don't have to listen to the music, but the things they do in this video are pretty sweet. The film is running at normal speed, the people are just slowing down and speeding up by themselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-qhj3sJ5qs

Interesting. I would guess they left it out due to royalty/licensing issues, since it's a Randy Newman song.

I've got a question for anyone who knows a little bit about TVs and how cameras interact with them. The video clip on this website: http://kellenandme.com/ (or, if you would rather just go to Youtube for a similar, albeit worse quality clip: http://youtu.be/BAyMHghFC-0) I wanted to know how it was made, so I asked the artist of the songs (and also the videos), and he said "if you connect a video camera into the video out on a television, then point that camera at the t.v. screen, there is a very interesting world of light waiting to be explored. I find it works best if you use a tripod and make small adjustments as you go."
So basically I'm trying to clarify his answer. All I have to do is plug a camera into a TV via a yellow RCA cable, and then point the camera at the TV, and something in the nature of the two videos in this post are the result? It almost doesn't seem like it's that simple. I would try it for myself, but I don't have a cable that fits my camera.
It looks like theres more going on. I've done a similar thing (camera and computer screen) and I got the "infinite universes" effect like in this video (1:48) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6y7YOlldek&feature=youtube_gdata_player
