My Famicom shop is closed. Japan Post has halted most international mail due to Coronavirus related disruptions. So unfortunately the below items are no longer available for sale, apologies for that.

PAYMENT: Paypal only.
IMPORTANT: In the back-and-forth of PMs, it is easy to lose track of who is ordering what. To make transactions go smoothly and ensure that you get everything you are buying, when paying please include a full list of all the games (etc) you are buying in the paypal comment. If I have to go back through a dozen messages (I get about 100 PMs a month on average here) to try to piece together an order it makes it easy for me to miss something
SHIPPING: I am based in Japan. For loose Famicom carts shipping is $2.00 for the first cart and $1 for each additional cart thereafter to the USA, Canada, most of Europe and most of Asia. That is sent SAL small package, which does not have tracking or insurance. Some countries (Romania for example) do not accept SAL so for those shipping will have to be by other methods at a different price. If you aren't sure if your country accepts SAL just PM me or check the Japan Post website.
Shipping time will vary. I can say that the average to North America and Western Europe is about 3 weeks these days, but sometimes they get there in 2 and sometimes in 4.
For more expensive stuff if you want the security of tracking and faster shipping I can also send stuff EMS. The price will be higher than SAL though.
GAME CONDITION: I test the games to make sure they load before shipping them. I don`t include any games with cracked cases or other major damage, BUT please note that these are all used games and some have general wear like scuff marks or kids names written on the backs of them which aren`t visible in the photos. If condition is important to you just drop me a PM and I can send close up photos of the more expensive carts. ALSO please note that some of these carts (except for the individually priced ones) I have more than one copy of, so I might send a copy of it that is not the one in the photos. As a general rule any carts I do sell that way will be in roughly the same condition as the one in the photo.

MISC: First come first served. I can hold stuff for a day or two but please only ask me to do so if you are serious about buying it.
Also, with some of the games I sometimes make mistakes with writing the game titles in English (kanji are difficult!) so be sure to look at the photos to double check the ones where I`ve noted I am not sure about the title. The written lists of games are in the same order the games appear in the photos.

Nice! Would be interesting to know the board revision of that Famicom with smooth bottom. None of the "non-square-buttoned" famicoms had smooth bottom... It can be the "missing link" between square and normal famicom! (most probably somebody only exchanged the bottom, but who knows?)

Update - Hori controller is available (no longer PENDING). Also reduced the price on the mid-range Famicom games from 4$ to 3$ each.

Thanks and yes, that is Super Adventure Island.
Actually I just realized I missed one of the kanji in that title. It should read `Takahashi Meijin DaiBouken Shima`. WIthout the `Dai` it is actually the title for Adventure Island on the Famicom rather than the SFC.

Depends on where you are. Airmail to the US/ Europe for 2 carts would be about 5$.
I would recommend the SAL service though, it takes more or less the same amount of time as Airmail (actually SAL is sent most of the way by air) and costs less ($3.50 for 2 carts).

Just an update: I am having some difficulty with my paypal account, after a year of not using it I was informed they had changed their policy and I needed to provide some additional documentation in order to recieve money. Oh, and you've got a "Dragon Ninja" listed in your $6 photo I think? It's actually Dragon Fighter, which will probably be easier to sell if you put the right name on it. Both were released here for the NES, but the US version of Dragon Fighter is an almost $100 game these days. You'll find a number of American collectors interested in a cheaper FC version of that.

Added a few new things!
Just received the package from you yesterday Sean (well it arrived a day or so before, but I was out of town), and everything looks great. I definitely let out some cries of agony after trying out a few of those games, and I then began to second-guess the quest I am about to undertake, hehe. Luckily, trying out all of the good games made those bad games disappear, heh.
For those that have never dealt with Sean before, he packages the games securely, and is a great guy to deal with. I certainly hope to drop some more coin buying his stuff in the near future!

Actually I have been getting a few messages recently about packages taking longer than the usual 2 weeks, big apologies to everyone for that. That is the official estimate from Japan Post, and it was accurate in the past (except around Christmas) but for some reason it is taking longer these days. (Rest assured everyone who has ordered from me: I have never had a package fail to arrive so even if they take a few extra days, they will get there).
My recent package was a bit slow in arriving, too.

It seems that as of January 1st, 2014 the Universal Postal Union made some changes to SAL shipping. The main one is that a lot of countries will no longer accept registered SAL packages (many of them in Europe). These countries still take SAL unregistered.
I suspect that these changes have also affected the shipping times, which is why packages that I have sent since last month are taking longer. I talked to the folks at my local post office about this yesterday and, though they couldn`t give me any details, they seemed to confirm this. When I asked what the expected shipping times now were they not only couldn`t give me an answer, but they actually asked me if I could tell them how long the packages I sent were taking so that they would know!
Japan Post`s website used to give an estimate of 2 weeks for SAL small package to most countries in Europe and North America, which was reasonably accurate in the past and so I would generally give that as an estimate. They have just changed that feature on their website and no longer give an estimate for shipping times. I`m going to be having a baby soon so I`ve marked down the prices on most of the Famicom games (partly because we need a bit of $$ and also because we need to clear out some space!)

The 20% is off the price of the games before shipping. I can`t reduce the shipping cost since the post office determines that (though the exchange rate has taken about 5% off the value of the Yen this month so I might give a small discount on that too).
