There is only a sound frequency adjustment on the GPMs, you'd have to replace components to adjust the video one.

Is there a way to adjust an RF Modulator on the HVC-CPU-GPM-02 motherboard model to use on US Channel 6? The model where the power board and motherboard are one piece. I don't want to go down the modding way and solder more parts. I know its green on the older models to adjust it but not sure about the newer models as that parts not there.

Ah, yeah, sorry mate, that disk is a goner.

Supposedly there's a chance you could get the disk to uncrease itself by ironing it, but I've never tried it, and it would require re-writing the disk afterwards anyway.

Only suggestion - if it has the Bubble Bobble label, which you'd like to preserve and you DO have a way to rewrite disks, you could crack open the shell and swap the magnetic disk with one from a cheaper game.

Got a copy of bubblebobble at a con a few days ago. Its got a line? (Looks kinda like a fold) on the disk itself. Saveable or is it sad forever?

Well, that band's quite thick, and not the right shape (should be flat, not square).
Best get a proper replacement, I guess.

Found a problem.
The band keeps popping out every time the drive spins.

And I see the problem.
Bits and pieces of the old belt are still on the gold spindle, I'll have to scrape it off best I can.
