twin famicom jail bars

hi i did a quick search but could not find an answer, Anyhooo  i got a twin famicom and it has pretty bad jail bars only  on the disc system is that normal? the cartridges look nice but the disc system game have vertical bars like every few inches I tried super mario 1,2, volleyball and kid Icarus same thing. Sorry to make a new thread I am new  to all of this and was just worried the disc drive was going bad or something because it is LOUD . thank you for any help

Are you playing it on a hd flat screen or a crt.

hd flat lcd , but the cartridge doesn't have them thats why its confusing me

Hmm, you could try to open the console and unplug the disk system. You should still see the disk system intro scene.
