Collecting Vinyl Records

I always prefer original pressings, but if I can get a reissue much cheaper I'll go for it. Most of the expensive records I want are rare small print runs. One day I'll get a copy of Dream Theater's "Awake"...one day.

Bumpin this up because Godspeed You! Black Emperor's new album is up for preorder on 12" + 7". I've listened to it already and I actually really like it. Probably be picking it up somewhat soon!

I've listened to it once through, not sure how I feel about it.  The record looks gorgeous though.

I collect Vinyl 33's but mostly 45's because they sound better.
