Hello everyone. I Seem to be having a bit of an issue with my Twin Famicom's FDS drive and I'm not sure what the problem is...
Basically, the system is stuck at the loading screen infinitely as the drive tries to load the game. The Game loaded fine on two occasions in the past before I've been having these issues, but now the game just won't load anymore. I linked a video of what exactly is happening.

If somebody can help me, I'd be very greatful.
Thank you for taking your time to read this post.  :D

Edit: It seems messing with the insides of the drive itself fixed the issue!

Okay, it works now, but only if the fds is vertical?!

What is the temperature(celsius, please) in the room?
I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy

Possible that the plug is loose, which would explain why it works when vertical.

Okay, I see what is happening. When the drive goes backwards, it isn't hitting the little black switch, which is does when the drive is vertical.

I watched this:

...and I think I need some lubricant. What kind should I use for it?

Okay, I greased up the 3 straight rod things the disk drive moves across and it worked about 4 times, then stopped. Of course, it still works fine vertical. Is there anyone in the U.S. that could fix it for me for a fee?

You can replace the spring or put another spring in there.
I mean the spring that moves the drive back.

Personally I put the spring in a small hole behind the drive... I do this a lot, just yesterday did it on a drive. That spring is getting old.

Hard to explain... But basically you just need a spring to move the drive back.

Maybe those 3 shafts are a little crooked. You can adjust the pressure on them by tightening/untightening the screws that hold them to the assembly.
