Does every famicom game has a pirated copy ?

Thats actually a difficult question to answer. You see, while it is possible for there to be a pirated version of any Famicom game, nobody really knows for sure which ones exist. Pirates don't annouce which games they are going to pirate and for most part, they stick to HKO or early releases or mega populars (which tend to be one and the same). I've seen plenty of pirates (and own quite a few too) of popular NES games but never seen a pirated Rockman game, though its definetely not beyond the realm of possibilities. Consider this: anything made before 1987 has a much higher propability of being pirated than games beyond that date due to complexity and more importantly size. All pirates I've seen are games that are small and hover in the 128KB or less range. I wonder if in the future, we'll start to see all six Rockman games on one cartridge. That would own! or all thee Marios or hell, maybe one day every damn Famicom game ever made on one cart.

Everything you've talked about, satoshi, is already out there. Rockman series...check. Mario series...check. Kunio series...check. Recca...check. I don't know that I've seen SMB3 on a multi-cart with other Marios, though. All Night Nippon on cart would be cool; I haven't seen that either.

To better answer Jabra's question...you won't find many obscure titles as pirates, particularly RPGs, money-related soft, anything using special controllers, etc.

I have seen a pirate for Rockman 3. and I have seen Rockman 1 in a multi with Contra and another 20 typical games. But I have never seen pirate for Top Striker and Castlevania 3

I'm not good with the technicals, but I imagine some games are more difficult to reproduce than others because of the space required and hardware issues. Castlevania 3 is notorious for not working perfectly in anything but a real Famicom, so it's gotta have some complex guts that complicate reproduction. I've not seen a pirate of it yet.

Has to be, no doubt in my mind. Some we just don't know about.

You know, its funny. Thats only the case with Castlevania 3. Its japanese version, Akumajō Densetsu, works perfectly fine with every Famiclone I've ever tried to use it with. However, nothing likes Castlevania III. The Yobo and NEX refuses to let you proceed after inputting a name, the GameAxe plays it with major glitches and no music, The Handy FamiEight doesn't even load it!

Oh really. I thought it was AD that had the problems, not the NES version. Huh.

Every Famiclone I own or have ever used will play any Famicom game I have no questions asked. However they only play MOST NES games. The NEX nolikie CVIII or Color Dreams games like Master Chu & the Drunkard Hu (which is still my favorite named game of all time)

MarioMania

Is it because of the Mapper CV3 is using or the MMC5 Chip, Why other games play great...but not CV3 though the NEX or the Game Genie
