Power's sorted out but now I need a solution to get video and audio to my TV.

The TV is a Philips 42PFL3606H/12, here's the panel

I got this cable with the system, plugs into the Famicom but the other end won't fit the spot in the TV.

What should I try? (No AV modding)

The RF-switch for a NES should work.

As long as you can plug it in to your TV. The only problem of then one you have is that the shape of the plug doesn't fit the RF-jack in your TV.

Buy RF cable.

Cable from famicom will give a lot of noise

Haven't acquired a fitting cable yet.

How do I know it's the right size? I have one cable in the house, fits the TV but the other end is too small for the Famicom.

Managed to get it working with the NES RF switch but I'll keep the other options in mind, thanks.
