I'm quite sure those aren't a limited edition (but I don't KNOW for sure...  :-[ ), so I'd say wait it out.

@Arkanix38
Nice!
Shipping is also pretty cheap!

Pretty simple because it is not  that popular .
I am back everyone :)

FYI to all.  Amazon Japan is trickling $64 preorders out.  Every once in a while you'll see it up and you have to be super quick!!  Preordered mine, $64.  Good luck to everyone else!

I would like one of these, but not so much for using (I already have these games anyways), but rather for the significance of it.  Of course, I want the Famicom version.

With that said, I am not going to play the games that scalpers play, paying overpriced prices for it either.  I am sure that this product will be made in some decent quantity (I feel the same about the NES version), and if not, then I'm not going to lose any sleep over it either.

Exactly the reason I got mine.  The significance of it.  I've been such a hardcore Famicom fan for years now.  It's nice to be able to get a fresh new Famicom from Nintendo.  Something I could never get as a kid.

PSA!!

Amazon Japan seems to be releasing $60 preorders for this thing frequently right now!!  Make a Tenso account and order this puppy for retail price;

Stay on the page, refresh, and order.  So far since 9am I've been able to get through 3 times.  We're only limited to 1 each so it would error out.

Amazon delivered mine last night and I love it.  The mini controllers are surprisingly (to me) really easy to play with.  The 30 post cards are great, and really help to negate having paid like 1,500 yen for a 100 yen AC adapter in a nice box.

Threw together a quick video comparing the differences in size between the original and Mini Famicom.

My NES mini has arrived, but I'm away on travels at the moment. Still hoping to snag two of these later for $60, though sadly I missed out on the pre-order postcards - maybe I can snag those from eBay for a few bucks.

Chaos today on Long Island NY with these NES minis.  Stores were only getting like 6 each.  I waited on a line outside of Target an hour before opening.  I was 2nd in line and then the manager comes out and says that there were only 2 available.  I got lucky.

I can't wait for the brothers to be united.  NES and Famicom minis!!  Woooo hoooo!!!

Just got my Mini Famicom in Australia, it works great and is cute as hell! The controllers are surprisingly good apart from the size, even then they are quite usable for someone with large hands like me

MS-DOS4

I am so excited for this thing!  ;D

It is nice it has River City Ransom included, I just wish the NES version had it as well- in english. Mother would have also been a fun game to include.

It doesn't.  Which surprised me.  Even the tiny HDMI cable is Nintendo branded.
