That Castlevania looks pretty interesting - I saw a few gameplay videos and it's a full, playable, original port of what looks like Harmony of Dissonance for the GBA.  Sintax were good!

Aw dude, why do the really cool unlicensed games (like Castlevania) have to be so expensive  :'( Best of luck on your sale, my friend.

Well they are for best offer, lol.  I just have no idea how to price stuff like this, as I've never seen it for sale before, .

Is that 64 in 1 sought after?

I got one in a deal and just gifted it to somebody as part of a sale lol, thought it was just some generic cart and didn't look up in details the games on there.

No idea mate, but I would think there would be some sort of interest in it, considering all of the game hacks on it, such as the one I posted.  This is just my personal feeling, and I think a lot of this stuff will appreciate in vaue / demand in the next few years too.

Yeah in fact I actually hadn't noticed these were all hacks when I gifted it and the guy who got it seemed happy with it, so it can has someone's interest for sure.

I saw a video of that CastleVania games on YouTube, and it does look interesting. Is that CastleVania a Game Boy game that has color in it, or is it a Game Boy Color game? Would that play in a Super Game Boy?

Yes, it's a true Game Boy Color game, like all of Sintax's games.  Whether it would work in a Super Game Boy or not, I actually have no idea.  It works fine in a regular game boy color machine, but I don;t have a Super Game Boy to test it out.

I guess the question then is whether it would play on a first-generation Game Boy. A Super Game Boy is a first-gen Game Boy with the modification to read and process color data if it's programmed into the game. The first few Game Boy Color games were still compatible with the Super Game Boy, but most GBC games just give an error message and don't boot. With official games, it's easy to determine compatibility:  the colored shells that are still opaque like OG Game Boy games will still play, while the transparent-shelled games aren't compatible. With an unofficial game like this, I don't know.

What I do know is that this seems cool, but that I hate the tiny screens on handhelds.

Hey everyone,

I never tried it on a Game Boy b/w before and was surprised to see it actually run on my b/w GB, but it does work fine!  Then I noticed on the box that it also mentioned about black and white GB compatibility, guess I never looked to carefully at the box before.
