I still get email alerts. They're just very slow. Sometime taking 24 hours to arrive.

I still get emails whenever I get a PM. They arrive pretty quickly. Do you have the right email address set in your profile? (If you do, kudos on the funny address
)

I just checked the mail logs and it looks like Hotmail/Live is blocking some/all email coming from Dreamhost servers.

I've received two PMs today, got two emails from FW about it, and both times, I got the little pop-up notification when I refreshed the site. Gmail is my favorite email client.

I still get the alerts when I visit the site, but I get zero e-mail notifications.
Joe what is amusing about my e-mail address?! It's genuine, LET are my initials (ism taken from cubism, fauvism, futurism etc art movements). So I guess it means 'LET-ness'.
Maybe it just sounded like a crude word?
[UPDATE]
now I see what you mean - I changed the address for privacy some time back, didn't think about the implications! Facepalm!

Did you see an error message? A blank white page? Something else?

Ah, so it was the white page thing again. I'm not sure why it does that. It usually doesn't last very long, though. I usually report them to Dreamhost when they occur, but since I can't view FW at work anymore I wasn't able to do it this time.

There is no limit.
(and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find that setting in SMF's admin section
)

Yeah, they went and banned pretty much every website that's even remotely affiliated with video games. I can still read the forums via the RSS feed, but I can't post or moderate.

Join their mailing list. New proxies roll in irregularly. Used to be a new proxy site made every day, but they've slowed down.
Although at work you should be working.
