That's super cheap!  Cry

Converted to gallons, regular gas here in my area costs 6.98$/gallon!
Premium (high octane) costs 11 Yen more per liter, so 7.49$/gallon.  Crazy

America still has it very good!

In Europe it's even more expensive than in Japan, though.

That means I'll probably consume a bit less.  Cry
But 10% still isn't that bad compared to other countries.

I wonder if the video game retailers keep their prices (e.g. Nintendo 4,800 or 5,800 for standard releases) and eat the difference, or if games will get more expensive.

Our gassoline price. Today I tanked 1,56 eur per liter. It's historic maximum for my country.

EDIT: a little number mixup, but still extremly high.

The battery in Pokemon Gold. This deserves a little story.

I'm 10 maybe, playing Pokemon Gold. I'm in National Park when all of the sudden, holy shit, it's a gold metapod. I catch it, and this is the first time I've ever knew about shiny pokemon. If you don't know, you have about a 1 in 8,000 chance of encountering a shiny pokemon. It eventually evolved into a shiny Butterfree. Less than a few weeks later, the battery in the cartridge died. I wept a little on the inside.

On a similar note, the S.S. Anne. An NPC said the ship visits Vermilion every year. That fucker never came back.

I waited for it.

I just spent $31 and months of waiting trying to fix my famicom, and it still doesn't work. I think the chips might be fried. Sad

Didn't buy chips. Just replacement components for the FC power board, a compatible power supply, and some cleaning fluids. Oh well.  Upset Rolleyes

Pawn Stars isnt half bad, and it was the first. Now we have Hardcore Pawn, Cajun Pawn Stars, Oddities (which is pretty cool actually as it deals with weird and strange items only), Storage wars, America pickers, American restoration.......Its all the same or similar stuff......ughhh  Undecided

American Pickers is pretty cool. Just think of it in retro game-hunting terms.
