Actually, I'm not sure. He'd only been in the Marines (3/25) for about a year and a half. I'll see what I can find out.

Nope, he was at home. My mom said he seemed happy when she saw him a couple days earlier, so it definitely came as a shock. Then again, I think these sort of things usually do.
