I have a Tristar64 adapter. It allows you to play SNES/Super Famicom games and NES(with adapter)/Famicom games on N64. It comes with the box. Requires AC adapter (included, but not pictured)

PIC HERE:

Price: $150 + $5 shipping

Back then when the N64 was new I wanted one of those.
Now I have multiple units of each console, so I don't need one any more.

Nice stuff, though.

I've wanted one of these for a few years since i've heard of it.

I couldn't afford this though.

It seems odd at that price, considering you could get a NES/famicom and SNES both inside 150 bucks?  Why is it so much if you don't mind me asking?

Sure you could get a SNES and NES for cheaper, but this adapter isn't all that common. It's like asking, "why get real games/systems when you could just emulate them for free?" I got it for more than I am asking and taking a loss, but it's definitely a collector's item.

I do have a CIB Gamars for Super NES. But mine comes with a few rare pirate floppy copies. Might worth more since it is more rare than yours. ;D

Try contacting  Otmandy. ;) He is looking for this kinda stuff.

FamicomFreak,

The Gamars unit you have isn't all that rare. I have it and several units like it and theý were substantially less than what the Tristar64 is worth. The Gamars unit you have is a game copier and the Tristar64 plays actual carts, so it's like comparing apples to oranges - they do 2 separate functions.

It's clear that this site caters more towards people that want to pick up games, systems, and peripherals cheap, and this isn't cheap. Prob is, ebay won't allow this to be sold, so I tried here.

Jeez, i thought yours was a copier. My bad ;D I should have take a closer look at the small picture. Too much porn makes my eyes blurr. :D :D :D

May as well keep it on here and see if someone picks it up.  I just meant I don't see the value in this (considering it's alot) other than for N64 collectors and those types who like to pick up every accessory.  Please don't take offence, It just means the market for it may be smaller but if it is as rare as you say then someone will notice it for sure.

I'm surprised ebay disallowed it, could you relist it and adjust the anme perhaps?  there's nothing illegal or unlicensed about this as far as I can tell.

The lack of AC adaptor could be a problem though..

I have listed this twice on ebay and they took it down both times. Funny thing is, I bought it on on ebay, so go figure. I edited the ad to include an AC adapter. This is one of those items that caters more toward the collector as opposed to a casual gamer. It's like a sealed, rare NES/Famicom game - the alternatives are cheaper, but to a collector it's a jem.

I remember in the past when listing things like this on Ebay sometimes they'd get pulled, then conveniently someone would contact me on Ebay and ask to buy the item directly...

Good luck with your sale.

I think he was talking to Dante Vale.  It would seem that Dante's Gamars thing is more rare than the TriStar, seeing as I've never heard of it before. :D
