Ok,
So here is the newest information I have been able to find reguarding the newest unit of measurement....

Do you think "Hella" should be introduced into the record books?

What a mong.  Sorry, but hella?  I don't mean to sound rude but this is the usual justified but shallow logic I see come out of the states through and through.  Even the way he writes is bastardised:

"this number is no longer a satisfactory 'upper bound' in scientific nomenclature."

Why go around the houses to stretch out "this is no longer a distant ceiing figure"  and as for 'hella' being a word in itself, it's not.  It's just 'hell-of-a-lot-of' broken down.  Is 'Ya'll' a word now too?  Shall we make a new complex called Yall Hall Mall just because people use that word in the South?  Fuck no.

Moron needs to get back into his books and stop dicking around with two decimal places.

Yeah, this is pretty dumb.  When a couple of scientists manage to sneak in a nerd-culture joke into official nomenclature, it's funny.  When you take a word that was popularized by South Park and then start a freaking Facebook group about it in an attempt to get it made official, it just sucks any and all humor out of it.

I want a hellabyte HDD for my... uhm... movie collection. :D

Manuel I was thinking the same thing but it would fill up just as quick I'm sure!

Been thinking about this some more and hella byte still sounds duff.  Other suggestions?  I vote muvva byte.
