Where can I buy one? I need something to play NES games on my AV Famicom...
You cannot build your own converter by any chance?

stoneagegamer.com used to sell them. Dont know if they do now...

They still do. I asked about why they said it doesn't work with an AV Famciom and apparently, people have reported that it doesn't.

I ordered one for testing purposes as well as the fact that it's the cheapest one (which people say is for a reason).

It looks no different from the Yobo one I have, which seems to work perfectly fine for me.

It is the yobo one. The only problem it has is when you insert the converter into the famicom, you have to pull it out slightly. Minor inconvenience.

This thread might be handy in case you're trying to run certain mapper NES games. Basically, the stoneagegamer one is cheap, but won't work with some games (namely Castlevania III). I'm not even sure where to get them any more, especially wince Robb Webb doesn't stock the ones he used to have any more.
