Pirated.  Illegally made.  Some dudes ported SFII to the Famicom and called it Street Fighter III.  This game was not licensed by Nintendo or Capcom.

They aren't worth too much.  The box may add a little value though.

Pirate fighters are worth about $15 each. The box makes it worth about $10-20 more. It really depends on how much value the buyer thinks it adds. SFIII is pretty common, but I've never seen it boxed.

/\  No doubt keep it if you like SF games.  I think the 16 bit ports are definitely cool items to have, though the SF games are fairly common on these boards.

Yes! It does have a box, awesome! At least if it's the same game I'm thinking of.  I have a Super Fighter III, & that's the best pirated SF game I've yet to play.

That actually looks like a well made pirate cart. Even better that you have a box for it. I imagine that boxes for pirate titles aren't all that common, even in the game happens to be.

Have you guys played Street Fighter Zero 2 (Alpha 2) Famicom? THAT is the best pirate Street Fighter game bar none, graphically or otherwise.

That's what I keep saying. It's awesome. Someone claims Samurai Showdown II is better, but I wasn't too impressed.

Please update the first post with the following information:

AV Beautiful Girl Fighting
(Someri Team fighting engine)

Notes: Ramma is hot. You have to play on level 3 or highter to see the good stuff after a fight: first win gets you an image of your opponent with ripped up clothes; second win gets you nude. My guess would be that this game was made by Gouder because of the similarities between Marry and the Playboy bunnies, and because of the flashing text on the title screen but cart label says it was made by Someri Team. (need edit)

Dragon Ball Z 2
JY Company
Port
Intro screen: No.
...

Dragon Ball Z 5
[maker unknown]
Mapper hack of Dragon Ball Z 2.
IIntro screen: No.
... (add DBz2 info here)

Fatal Fury Special (Garoudensentsu Special)
Somari Team
[unclassified]
IIntro screen: No.
....
Notes: This is by far one of the best fighters. The "Fatal Fury" on the title screen is light up with fire. There are smoothy moving backgrounds, and even a Mount Rushmore background. The gameplay is smooth and the fighters hardly glitch.

Kart Fighter
Someri Team fighting engine
Original
...
Notes: There's no much good about this fighter. The controls are terrible and the graphics are amateur. The only neat aspect is being able to see some of Nintendo's best characters fight each other. Kinopio is very expressive.

King of Fighters '96, The
JY Company
Original
IIntro screen: Yes.
Fighting modes: Team Play - Team VS - Single play - Single VS
Levels of difficulty: Very Easy - Easy - Normal - Hard - Very Hard
...
Game Over screen: It says "Game Over?" with a countdown of 10.
Notes: Dumped version is hacked (mapper) and JY easter egg is partially removed.

Mortal Kombat III: Special
JY Company
original
Intro screen: Yes.
Fighting modes: Yes, "Very Easy" / "Easy" / "Medium" / "Hard" / "Very Hard"
Levels of difficulty: Very Easy - Easy - Medium - Hard - Very Hard
Fighters: 28 peoples (14 unique -- Shao Kahn, Kung Lao, Cage, Reptile, Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, Goro, Baraka, Kitana, Sub-Zero, Jax, Scorpion, Raiden, Mileena)
Fighter select screen: Rows.
Vs. screen: Yes; fighters at top-left and bottom-right; vs. at center.
Game Over screen: Reads "Press Start to Continue?" and shows countdown.
Notes: The intro screen is more the blue dragon symbol, but also includes ominous lightning. This game should be noted for its blood splatter, which occurs after each hit.

Mortal Kombat 3: Special 56 Pepoles
JY Company
Original
Intro screen: No.
...

Mortal Kombat III: Turbo
JY Company
Hack of Mortal Kombat III: Midway
...

Samurai Spirits 2
JY Company
Port
Intro screen: No.
