Russian dendy famiclone help!!!

Hi all i just bought a Russian famiclone and tried to hook it up to my TV stupidly I miss read my adapter and when i went to turn it on it smoked i quickly turned it off but im wondering if it is fried or not? pic coming soon  :'(

Pics Im going to get the proper adapter so i guess i find out then

You could have fried the 7805 or blown one of the capacitors nearby. Check both and replace them where necessary.

For caps, just look to see if they're bulging, popped open or if there's electrolytic fluid spilled below the cap. If you see any that are bad, replace the cap with one of the same value and make sure to get the polarity correct.

For the 7805, you'll need a multimeter. Place the positive (red) probe of the multimeter on the third pin of the 7805 and have the negative (black) probe on ground, which can be found on the second pin of the 7805. Set your multimeter to measure DC voltage, turn the system on, and see if there's any voltage coming out of the 7805. If you're not getting any voltage, the 7805 is fried and needs to be replaced.
