Just a curiosity, what is harder to find an nes101 gg adapter that is rare ($80usd ish) or a FC game genie? I would like both. I ask not as a comparison on which to get but more as a curiosity?

I have never seen a famicom game genie in Japan.
Perhaps it was only released in south america, for all the clones.

They were released in Taiwan and Poland too. But yeah, probably not Japan.

as for the original question, personally I'd say the Famicom GG is harder to find but will probably be cheaper when you do find one.

In Japan they had that Super Rocky cart.

You can find FC gamegenie also in south America (that's where i've seen the most).

I bought the south american famicom Game Genie from a member here.  Works great.

Maikol had these for sale, but I don't know if he has any left.

Hit-Japan had a couple of Famicom Genies on auction not that long ago, they only sold for a few dollars. Guess not that many people spotted them.
