Hmm, a GBA Micro on the desk - that is a very good idea and one I will borrow if you don't mind!

I played some SFC last night - some Super Turrican, Super R-Type, Super Street Fighter 2 and some others.

Then I started to play Earthbound, for the first time...  Looking forward to getting into it!

I am slowly getting through Castlevania 3 and every now and then play some lesser known GB games like:

Chalvo 55 (I am just on third level but so far, so good)
Heisei Tensai Bakabon (half bad half great but i am liking it, there is Famicom version out there)
Tenjin Kaisen (really nice shmup-ask game)

I just put in a couple hours more with Little Ninja Brothers (NES). I got to a fight against the Evil Queen, and it turned into a turn-based fight and she crushed me with impunity. Her magic was really annoying, and I couldn't land a hit on her either.

Just played some Super Mario 3D World w/ the girlfriend.

We're finally clearing out the last two worlds of green stars and flag poles.   We may very well finish it today!
I'm expecting a hidden unlocked level or something as a reward.

Great game. Not perfect, but the perfect pick up and play game.

I fully expect they release a Super Mario 3D World 2.  Would be a shame to have built such a pretty, functional engine, and not deliver more content.

More Little Ninja Brothers (NES) for me tonight. I'm really loving it, and will have to check out a translated Super Chinese 3 sometime. I actually killed Blu Boltar, who is the thug in the opening cinematic. Apparently he's not the final boss... who knew?

Played some good ol' Super Mario Bros. 2 (for super players) on my Wii, on the FCE Ultra GX emulator. Good fun, but extremely hard.

Ah, I played a little bit of the real Super Mario Bros 2 about a week ago. It's so much tougher than the first game; I'll really need to give it a serious go someday.

I've been continuing to play through Little Ninja Brothers. I reached the Fire Castle last night, but was unable to enter it since it was... well, on fire. Even though I'm level 30, the enemies are still very tough in that desert.

Beat Zyuranger for the Famicom last night.  Played it once or twice, years back, and disliked it.  After playing all the way through, I can say it's not too bad for kids' platformer.

Level one is the hardest in the game.

The Pink Ranger is laughably overpowered.

I spent a good chunk of yesterday knocking out three missions of Conflict (NES). I've had the itch to jump back into it today, but haven't found the time yet.

@ Shumi

I also enjoy Zyuranger. I've only played through the first couple of stages or so, so I still need to spend some more time with that.

I also enjoy me some Zyuranger, no clue why so many people deem it mediocre. The character sprites are relatively big so it takes some getting used to, but all in all I think it's a good game, and those mini-games are ridiculously awesome.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

I suppose I could probably come up with 50 platformers on the FC/NES that are better than Zyuranger, but I could also come up with 100 that are far inferior to it. It's a forgotten game because it was only released in Japan, and well after the decline of the platform. And it's definitely not as buff as some of the other end-of-the-generation efforts like Kirby's Adventure or Little Samson. But I'm partial to Power Rangers-themed stuff, and this is way above average for licensed tie-in games.

I did get a chance to knock out another mission in Conflict this evening, and I just beat a floor of Krusty's Fun House (NES) as well. Merry gaming to all, and to all a good night!

I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

Was over at a friends house, played some 2 player Samurai Shodown on Super Gameboy. Lots of fun.

I've been binging on Conflict for the last week, and I am now up to the final mission. I'm hoping to get it beaten this weekend.
