I have the cart version of that - can't get it to play games like Starfox US by bolting on a Starfox JP though..

I don't remember if the FX games worked on mine. It's been ages. I do recall it for being hyped up for being able to Killer Instinct when it came out though lol

After work, I stopped by one of my favorite little places, "Friend" in Kawasaki (near Musashi-Shinjyou station).  Walked out with a Super Famicom console w/ 2 controllers (my first EVER, somehow) and Contra Spirits for a combined total of 2,670 yen. 

I'm thrilled to FINALLY have a Super Famicom and DOUBLE thrilled to have scored Contra Spirits on the same day.  Gonna be a fun weekend!

I highly doubt it did. I don't get why Killer Instinct is special so that some backup units couldn't play it. Maybe just the size.

I've been lazy lately, so the boxes are just kinda sitting there. I actually have quite a bit of backlog still from previous shipments lol

I found a slightly wrecked SNES Link To The Past cart for $45 at a pawn shop, and a boxed (minus the instructions) NES Pinball for $10 at my local gaming store a few weeks back. The box is in horrible shape, but boxed is boxed!

Speaking of Vic Viper, I've got a special famicom related Gradius thing in the recent shipment too. One of those transforming Gradius carts still in box
