Yea Gamecubes are cheap, I paid $8 for mine 5 years ago and it came with the Gameboy Player adapter.
It's really the cheapest prices Nintendo console ever.

MaxXimus

The prices are actually starting to jack up on them, at least locally. I just lucked out on it. :) IMO the Gamecube is the perfect little console and it has a very simple, yet awesome user interface.

I love the Gamecube, it had tons of great games!! I also love the add-ons and stuff for it like the Gameboy Player, Gameboy link cable and e-reader, the microphone and wavebirds!! My favorite game is Chibi-Robo and Pikmin 2! Those games rock  8)

I got my silver Gamecube at Value Village for like $5 and then got a silver Gameboy Player from Japan for like $15. I really like how many colors there are. I want to get an orange one eventually.

The spice orange gamecube is effing sexy!!! I have wanted one for a LOOOOOONG time. The Panasonic Q is nice too but WAY too expensive.

I wanted to get a Q, but it is too expensive and region-modding that thing isn't easy. It's not clear which mod chips are compatible with it.

For those here I'm connected with on Instagram (https://instagram.com/juliusviloria858/) and my gaming related Facebook account this is old news... and in general I've retired from forum pickup threads, but thought this was too cool to pass up... about two weeks ago now (??) this little bad boy came in  ;)

For a while I've been wanting a bartop/tabletop arcade in the form of a Japanese arcade machine. Finally found a guy who could do it. Complete scratch build from wood... a custom SEGA Astrocity style bartop/tabletop machine!

Loaded with an SLG for scanlines, audio amp, Hyperspin front-end, etc. Built by Rob of Muti Game System (MGS Arcade), he did an amazing job. The details and quality is amazing. Even the inside is beautiful (as posted by his progress pics on Instagram and Facebook) The build took over 6 months, but was totally worth it. Even the joystick panel can be detached and used as a PC/PS3 joystick! There is even an HDMI out and easy to acces USB ports on the rear.

Unfortunately he is currently not taking new orders until he finds a way to produce them faster. Though Rob is currently working on my second machine, a Japanese NeoGeo arcade cab styled bartop ;) However check out his awesome work here:

Some youtube vids I took that show it in action and demonstrate some of the cool features not mentioned above:

He even made a big ol' crate to ship it. Very well packed.

Nightstar699

Those menus are a really, really nice touch. That is a badass machine you've got there Stealthlurker.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

chowder

Holy crap, that's beautiful!

stealthlurker

Thanks guys, feel very lucky to have actually got one. There are a lot of people asking him to build them one, but he barely accepts... totally lucked out  :)

Thanks! Oh me too  :)

Alright, thought this one is too cool to pass up on the scoops thread too haha (always wanted one of these bad boys).

Got a cool new addition to the CRT stable today, the big version (21" vs the 14") SF-1 Super Famicom TV combo unit with matching controllers. Internally is able to display the Super Famicom picture in RGB.

It's going to great with my 8-bit Famicom Sharp combo TV and the super ultra rare NEC PC-Engine Monitor combo I've got on the way :)
