It's possible but honestly OUYA was built to get a test market so that Julie Urman could sell a program to a true console company. It's a strategy for testing the idea and demonstrating its interest.

The Ouya was honestly pitiful. I got rid of mine for two reasons. First, the front end was always buggy. Sometimes not loading the store correctly, taking forever to start a game, etc. Second - and the big reason - was the awful input lag. It seemed to be both a software and hardware issue. The controllers that came with the thing had about half a second of lag. Using a PS3 controller improved it somewhat but the lag was still unbearable.

In the end, I got suckered in by the promise of indie games on an inexpensive device. And I'm sure many others were too.
