Hyper Fighting (Virtual Boy)
I've been playing it daily since the 10th, and it only gets better.

Hyper Fighting VB is a great game!  I went to the arcade with the wife today after some lunch out and we played a bit of Super Turbo and 3rd Strike

Nightstar to answer your missed question - I actually really like Ken, with all the kicks and what not, but I'm trying to get into Fei and his crazy rushdown game!  Not into charge characters

I feel like now that I've played Hyper Fighting in all its 3D glory, I am no longer interested in playing it any other way. 3D just made the game way to much better.

I've been getting back into my Genesis collection lately. Played through all the original Sonic games (1, 2, 3 + knuckles), since some of them I'd never actually beaten. I'd forgotten how much I love this console!

I had the same thing a couple years back.  Get an RGB cable and a scanline CRT and it is GLORIOUS with some headphones to boot.

I played the Street Fighter V beta - played and won a couple of matches, not really sure what to do or try out in the beta to be honest, but what I did see was fine.

Doesn't feel like it quite has that rounded magic yet, but I am sure it'll come.  Graphic presentation of menus and UI needs a lot of work, but feels placeholder.

Played as Ryu out of familiarity to get a good gauge - he felt really clunky and heavy, with fast moves that have a lof of recovery.  Hoping Guy or Cody make it.

Are there any special endings?  I wanted to play through it with a SFC controller so left it for a bit, heck of a port though!  The music is especially nice.

I just had a session of Gradius III on the Gradius Collection for PSP. I like to think I'm getting better at the game, but it seems to always fall apart for me after stage 3.

Hell of a soundtrack though!

Nope, just a standard port (the 3D really sets it aside from all other versions though) but I like that you can play as Ben.
I also like that the character select and some levels are direct from Street Fighter Alpha, so honestly it's like an unofficial in between game of SFII: Hyper Fighting and SF: Alpha.

I played Grave, a fun little indie game made in one of those game creating jams.  If I can find the link I'll add it here, it had a nice retro vibe.

Yes actually the game is filled with Cheatcodes, and they are all important.

I started StarTropics (over?) a year ago and decided to go back and play it for real.

Really fun game. I like how it doesn't hold your hand. Kinda wish it did with the third boss, though.
