Forgotten I'd bought this rare DVD of an even rarer
1955 film noir, one of the last of it's kind really.  I remember
being surprised GENON of all companies (they normally
release Anime) having put it out a few years ago.  I had never
watched it since buying it, and before that I hadn't seen it since
the Austin Film Institute had shown a screening of it in 1995 for
their Film Noir Week at the Dobie Theatre in Austin Texas.

I'd highly recommend the film to aficionados of the Film Noir.

all else is just rehashes and insanity passing
itself off as "gaming."

Just got done watching the first episode (this week/tomorrow is episode 5 I believe) of the new FOX show Doll House with Eliza Dushku.  It's kind of a so-so cross between La Femme Nikita from the late  90s with Peta Wilson mixed with equal parts ALIAS with Jennifer Garner and a fucked up 1960s episode of The Outer Limits, with mind erasure thing of the shitty John Woo flick with Ben Affleck called PAYDAY.  Can't say I'm too impressed, but I finally got the time to check it out.

I honestly had no idea who Joss Whedon was until after I read that Penny Arcade thing you posted up... then I Googled him which led me to Wikipedia.  Never realized Buffy (or Firefly for that matter) was penned by this guy.  DOLL HOUSE isn't horrible, I just think I've seen the story done too many times before, in one vein or another... [Counter Strike, La Femme Nikita, ALIAS,] and done much better.  But if he can maintain his edge and know where the hell he's going, something that apparently JJ Abrams cannot do as his 4th Season of Alias started to turn to absolute crap, and season 5 was a joke, ending the series in such a half assed manner I'm still fuming over it all.  Thus... perhaps I will give DOLL HOUSE a second chance.

Disc #4: Episode 14: The Legacy

Pretty interesting stuff really, always wanted to see the
60s TV show, as I remember watching the remake in the
1980s with Greg  Morris' son (that got turned into an NES
game), but only ever saw reruns on syndicated reruns in
the early 90s.  The episode in particular had these four
neo Nazis trying to recover a secret treasure left by Hitler
to start up the Fourth Reich... but the IMF stopped them of
course.  Never did care for the Tom Cruise revisionist rebrand
of the I.P.
