Title: Im sure this has been answered: FDS Power supply
Post by: EvLloyd on November 10, 2013, 08:33:10 pm
The FC and FDS i bought came with 2 identical PSU's, both appear to be for the FC.
From what I've read, they aren't compatible with the FDS, So what can i use? , please bear in mind, i am in no way technically minded!

I have a megadrive psu for the FC to use it here in OZ (in the mail)

You guys have been awesome with your help in my quest to get this baby up and running, i thank you whole heartedly!

If I was you I would just use batteries but the psu for the fds is 9VDC 400mA center pin negative.

Look like a mega drive model 1 psu would work just fine for the fds as long as it fits.

The FDS can use the same psu as the Famicom.

The FDS can use the same psu as the Famicom.

Thanks for that!!
I still have a Megadrive1 PSU coming, might try to use that, seeing as the step-down only has one outlet :(
