Title: Would This Atari Adapter Work For Genesis Emulators?
Post by: okame on January 12, 2014, 09:30:05 pm
Now that I have a new MacBook, I was think of using my old MacBook as a retro Atari/NES/SNES/Genesis gaming laptop, using emulators and ROMs. Has anyone ever used this Atari adapter http://bit.ly/KepOnT for Sega Genesis (or even Master System) games? If so, does it work?

It might only recognize the D+Pad and the A button of a Sega Genesis/Master System because when you use a Genesis/Master System controller with 2600 those are the only buttons that work.

The adapter may not have connection spots to recognize Start, Select, B or C since those buttons aren't on a 2600.

Actually, B on a Genesis controller corresponds to the button on a 2600 controller, not A.
