Title: Would 60 to 72 Pin Nintendo Adapters Fit In An NES Cart?
Post by: okame on January 16, 2014, 03:57:19 pm
A week or so before x-mas, I got a Micro Machines NES cart, but the game doesn't work. If I got a Famicom to NES pin converter on eBay that was JUST the boards, no case, would it fit inside? The cart is pretty much the same size and shape as a regular NES cart. If not, could I put it in the Super Mario Bros. 3 cart I have, also with a bad game, if I got the screw bit to take that game out?

Most likely. Nintendo themselves did this with some early NES games:

The converter board will probably fit with no problems, but you will have to cut the shell so you can connect the famicom games on it. Other than that, I see no problem with your idea.

Regards.
