With the advent of Nintendo Network, I wonder what happens when/if I sell a Nintendo system...
Are the games I downloaded locked to the NN account? If I sold my Wii U, I can't say "includes NES Remix" without having to give the guy access to my NN account? And if I remove it, does my games go away?
What if I sold my Wii U but get another one a year later. If I removed my account and then create it again, can I re-download the games I bought previously?
Disclaimer: I could be completely wrong about all of my answers, but this is how I understand it to work (it's overly complicated...):

I'm pretty sure they're locked to the Wii U itself. They are somehow associated with your NN (purchase history, etc), but not in any particularly useful way (cloud saves, etc).

I believe you can remove your NN from the Wii U and any games that were on the Wii U will remain on the Wii U. If the game requires Internet access, it probably won't work.

You mean, will it work exactly as you'd expect it to work? Haha, no, of course not. ;) You
cannot transfer your NN account to another Wii U.
3DS rules are a bit different, but still not great. I love Nintendo, but their online services leave a
lot to be desired.
I read that if you call your country's Nintendo that they might be able to change to your new Nintendo console so it's worth a shot.
