I can hear the faint sound of what appears to be a telephone ringing when exiting levels or entering/exiting ghost houses. Has anyone else heard of this before? I am using a Samsung hdtv purchased in 2008. Dont know if that makes a difference. At first I thought it was the neighbour's phone (I live in a side by side) but it is definitely from the game.
I don't have my SNES here but I don't remember hearing that sound.
It is pretty faint.
I tried it on my CRT tv and didn't hear anything, so it may be something related to your tv.
It must be. It's strange though as I don't hear it in any of my other games.
