I was searching the web when I came across an article about a black Super Mario Bros. cart, someone in the comments named the cart as "Super Mario Comic Bon Bon prize cartridge". Has anyone ever seen this game or can confirm it's an actual prize cart?

Someone here has one, I forget who it is. That particluar image looks like a repro though (the HVC - SM looks home printed).
Anyone could make prize games really... I could make some too. :)

But bottom line, no one knows for sure. It is believed by some to be a Bon Bon prize but no reliable source.
I have to say that it does look cool.
