Thanks..
很抱歉, 我想应该没有人会用$250 元买这东西。 这东西你可以从中国用很低的价钱买。 如果有人愿意支付50%买的话 我马上去中国进口这个东西。 :-)
Just a friendly thought, but no one is going to pay $250 for this when you can get this in China for much cheaper. If people would pay even 50% off your asking price, I'd start importing these at once. :-)
i've sold one already
If Trenton is true, and it costs less than $125, I might buy.
well, it is cheaper in china, but i have to pay import tax and expensive delivery fee (the thing weights 5kg)
check this page: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Famicom-Compatible-PC-with-floppy-drive-VINTAGE-famiclone-NEW-IN-BOX-/221386401985?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item338ba868c1
Please note, I did not sell the above link. It asks for 175 pounds (by it now),
I am considering a discount $200 for you if you are still interested, in this case it is cheaper 120 pounds.
PM for details.
Thanks...
DoctorLai where are you based and do you have links to the UK? If you're in HK we may be able to work something out, but nearby China is an option too.
Hello,
No, I haven't put it in EBAY yet.. I am based in UK...
If you are in HK, I suggest you go to Shenzhen and buy it here.. there are some second-hand market for games, consoles, so you probably will find this famiclone.
Cheers
@doctorlai: Sure, they could take you up on your discount... OR they could just not pay a middle man and get it for themselves directly. Even a basic search turns up the following:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=18887573039
Sells for 148.00 RMB, which is about $24 USD for the whole set. And that's without negotiating a discount. Just use any number of bidding services (If your not in China) and save yourself the $100s of dollars.
Whats £120???
You didn't save XE.com in your favourites did you... It's an easy URL to remember though luckily. Check it out.
@DoctorLai, I am also in the UK, perhaps I should change my flag back to avoid confusion.
Heading to Shenzhen soon though so am hoping to find some markets.
OK..
if you are still interested, I can put this on EBAY and offer you really good price..
I hope you can get this although it is really heavy and I hope you still have room for your luggage.
BTW, if you can find this famiclone, http://helloacm.com/the-8-bit-dos-by-famicom-clone-bbgdos-in-the-1990s/ in China, let me know, I'll offer really a good price for it.
Cheers

@Trenton_Net
yes, I know this Taobao thing..
I am NOT arguing with the fact that it is a lot cheaper in China, but I want to point to that:
1. if someone gets it from taobao (unfortnately, most sellers won't ship internationally), you have to find someone (your friend) or yourself to ship to your country. The cost ins't cheap (by air), the SB2000 famclone is 5kg and you can look it up how much it costs to send 5kg stuff using e.g. DHL (there is some cheaper shipping agent, but I doubt the much difference).
2. there is risk for import tax,
3. The beef in South Korea is very expensive compared to other places. In China, lots of things are cheaper, you can get simple famiclones for like less than 5$ second hand (even including domestic shipping fees).. As long as such things are not in massive demands, the price will stay there outside China...
4. BTW, if you can find this famiclone, http://helloacm.com/the-8-bit-dos-by-famicom-clone-bbgdos-in-the-1990s/ in China, let me know, I'll offer really a good price for it.
I will offer a good price if somebody can find this particular famiclone (with keyboard and floppy disk)

I've got another one already.
This one is more powerful, you can install additional RAM (up to 8 MB) using 30-pin SIMM
Got it, ok I'll see what I can dig up :)
ok, look forward to the good news :)
I actually have someone in Shenzhen tomorrow, but will not have time to search it out unfortunately - however, we will find one, it's just a matter of time.
