Post by: Pit on March 10, 2014, 07:57:13 am
Hi,

I'm looking for a famicom console, untested or not working. Just want to take the shell of it^^.

To bad you didn't want one 3 years ago, they have jumped $40+ higher since then.

This one doesn't include games and has already reached a bid + shipping total of $111+ and it's not done yet.

3 years ago you could buy them on eBay for $60-$75, now because collectability of the toploader has spiked they are easily $100-$120...
People now ask about $75 for a broken one...

Yes, I see prices are really going higher :(.

I think I'm gonna wait for a cheaper one.

That's a good price, but it still has 3 hours and all the serious bidders always attack at around 5 minutes left in the auction.
Edit- Well your auction ended at over a $100.

when u say auction ended over $100 doesn't mean $92 + shipping costs im sure i could find something which is 99c and has $100 shipping i wouldn't say the auction went over $100.

You just have to be patient if you want a good price.

For a long time I've wanted a Famicom that I could hook up with a/v cables.  I would have modded my regular console, but I'm too lazy.  I check ebay daily for anything that comes up and have been doing that for months now.  Even when I took a trip to Japan they were still pretty expensive.

Well the other day I checked ebay at night and I found a Famicom A/V for $56.  I kid you not.

Hey, I updated my thread,

I'm now looking for a famicom console untested, or not working. Console only, no cables needed, I'm planning to just use the shell of it.

35 dollar total, you might be able to talk them down a bit though :v

I am willing to sell you just the shell of a Famicom. However, it is slightly yellowed and there is a cut in the plastic in the back where the RF connector is. Also the stickers for the power switch and reset were taken off, but I still have the stickers. If you're interested, I can provide pics.
