Post by: BonBon on April 18, 2014, 12:06:25 pm
Post pictures of your famicom horror games here let's try to get the complete list with pictures. these are all nes exclusives pirated to famicom carts with the exception of the monster party reproduction cart I had made. All of these are pcb boards except for alien 3.

I know about 'Halloween' and 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' on the Atari 2600, but I don't know much about NES/FC/FDS horror games. Cool!

I would list Sweet Home, Akumajou Dracua 1, 2 and Densetsu here, plus Makaimura Gaiden 2 as first drops.

Would The Real Ghostbusters 2 count?  It seems more comedy than horror.

I guess it does, since Splatterhouse Wanpaku Graffiti and Monster Party counts. It's horror parody.

Edit: I don't see what Seiken Psychocalibur is doing here though. No matter how you look at it, it's fantasy and not horror as far as I can tell.

I have to admit I wouldn't necessarily count Holy Diver in either - but I'm not super familiar with it.  I have the game but haen't given it much attention so far.

I guess it counts as gothic themed like the Dracula series and maybe even Makaimura.

Wasn't Friday the 13th an LJN game? Also, did anyone make a "A Nightmare on Elm Street" NES to FC port?

Cunt. I wouldn't cunt it either, L__E__T. Sorry. I'll admit that I'm a grammar Nazi, but this mistake was too funny to ignore.

Spell check is more vulgar than I realised!
