Is it just me, but Kid Icarus is just a wonderful game on the NES!? I mean, the music is great, the challenge is perfect, and the gameplay is AMAZING!!! ;D

I agree with you. I wonder if a sequel will ever come out
therew as that sequel for the gameboy. anyhow, why isnt this in the famicom / famicom disk system forum, because this is a famicom game anyway.

That was a sequel?? well it's been years since I played both versions but what were the differences?
I own the gameboy sequel, and even though am not far in it, it just doesn't feel like a sequel. The story is similar to the NES version, the music isn't as good, and it just doesn't have the same feeling you had while playing the first one on the NES. It could've been better. :-[

I though the gb version was just a port from the NES version.
Haha. I own this game for NES but never popped it in to play. Guess I might be missing out. I never had the game when I was young, and I tend not to gravitate to games I didn't play when I was young, unless they're downright awesome in the first few minutes of gameplay. :P
Is this & Metroid the only NES games that fall into the Adventure Series?

I don't actually know, but I know the guy who created the Metroid series is the same guy who created Kid Icarus! :P
Gunpei Yokoi? Or are you talking about Yoshio Sakamoto who helped design it?

Well am not sure of who created the games, but I think it's Gunpei Yokoi. :)
Yes, it's Yokoi.
I recently got a copy of Of Myths and Monsters at work for $2, and I'm having a good time with it myself.

Lucky you! :o Only 2$!? I had to pay mine 20$. :-\
Hey does anyone have any good codes for this game? If you do, please post them here! ;D
I actually saved mine from when I had this game from a friend. :) I wasn't quite sure I beat the whole thing. I think I looped through the game 3 times. :-\
Do you already know about the two sentence codes?
I think one of them was ICARUS FIGHTS MEDUSA ANGELS & the other was something like !!!!! TERROR DANGER HORROR :-\
Yeah I already have these 2...I was looking for a code that lets you have all the items possible in the game and at the same time get the best ending. :)
Kid Icarus was great... Pete Michaud from Nintendo Power seems to be obsessed about it.
