What's a game that pisses you off? Me it's Magical Kingdom on NES...it's just so freaking hard and almost unbeatable! And its supposed to be a kid's game! A real piece of crap, surprisingly made by Capcom. :-\
It's almost always gonna be the games you can't beat. Or maybe just one that's fucking stupid in concept and design. But for me, it's Snake Rattle N Roll, because the final boss, the foot, is unbeatable. At least for me. I can never lick the thing enough to make it explode. It reminds me of those damn Tootsie Pop commercials -- how many licks does it take to get to the center...? >:(
That Disney game was actually rather easy; it's just in your mind. ;D But the ending sure does suck. >:(
As for Snake Rattle 'N Roll, it's not the amount of licks... it's the speed of the lick[/wiseman] I love how you can't cheat with the Turbo, either. Man, those guys at Rare were so great! :D Take that, cheaters! (http://forums.hitechcreations.com/forums/images/smilies/twisted.gif)
As for me... Back To The Future - I mean, come on! You get to the last part of the game & only get one try?! I was fed up with it & used the ol' pause trick. (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/teufel/devil-smiley-024.gif)
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde sure pissed me off (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sauer/angry-smiley-051.gif), but I managed that without cheating. ;)
Mario Is Missing pissed me off, but only because it was too easy. (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sauer/angry-smiley-019.gif)
Then there's the god forsaken SMB2J. (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sauer/angry-smiley-050.gif) Yet, I trudged endlessly through that hellhole [wow, Firefox has 'hellhole' as a word! :o]. Yes, without a save feature. (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sauer/angry-smiley-002.gif)
I don't know if Battletoads pissed anyone off, but it had me coming back, & then I conquered yet another Rare nightmare. (http://www.smiliegenerator.de/s32/smilies-45144.png)
Speaking of Nightmare, Nightmare On Elm Street! Furg! (http://www.websitegoodies.com/smilies/gfx/mad0121.gif) Still beat it. That makes 3, Rare! (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sauer/angry-smiley-011.gif)
But WWF Wrestlemania had me burning up! (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/sauer/angry-smiley-005.gif) But no one's a match for Randy Savage! 8)
One game I could never beat without cheating was Slalom. (http://tintsshades.port5.com/images/hmph.gif) Those retarded skiers! (http://www.websitegoodies.com/smilies/gfx/mad0160.gif)
Isn't it funny how most of these are Rare Ltd. games? (http://www.websitegoodies.com/smilies/gfx/confused0006.gif)
I think there's a fine line between difficult games that you really appreciate, and games that really piss you off. I love Rolling Thunder, but I can never manage to beat it. It always ends up pissing me off, but I always come back to it.
Also, there's Little Nemo. That freaking train stage. AARgh! >:(

Yeah wierd there all Rare, but as for Back to the Future, I had lots of trouble just getting past the first level! Those damn hula hoop girls...thinking there so hot swinging around in the road while you race the race of your life to the damn school!
Basically LJN game on the NES.
Chances are if you see LJN, Rare, or Acclaim on the label... it's going to piss you off. :P
Wow I almost forgot about Acclaim. Though I thought Rambo was OK. Othello you can't really screw up. The Simpsons games were especially disappointing, even for a young Simpsons fan like myself at the time. Man those games STUNK.
This was more true on the SNES, but anything by THQ as well. They always got all the cool licenses and then wrote shit games. I'm mad just thinking about all the money I wasted renting those things :)
Road Fighter.
I'm especially pissed off by that one, because my sister bought it instead of another game I would have liked. :'(
And the controls are bad.
Track design is bad. Music is bad. Enemies are annoying...
Apart from that first person shooters (I know that's not a game but a whole genre) piss me off. I just don't like them. It's not that I haven't tried to like those. I can't seem to get into this sort of games. And it's the numer one reason why I still don't consider to get a new console except the Wii. PS3 and 360 have lots and lots of shooters and not so many games I like.
BOOM HEADSHOT
Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts. One false move sends you to certain doom.
NES games that piss me off:
Bubble Bobble - Level 57. Need I saw more?
Castlevania - Damn those birds that swoop when your on stairs!
Jaws - why dont the spears do anthing against Jaws?! and why is it Jaws' power? Shouldn't it be Jaws's power?
Mike Tyson's Punch Out - Bald Bull. I hate that son of a bitch. I've only ever beat him a few times. Even Super Macho Man is easier! Tyson's just rediculously hard and stands out as a game that I never have beat and probably never will.
To The Earth - the most frustrating light gun game EVER
SNES:
Super Ghosts n' Ghuels: I like not being able to control where I'm jumping! Yippie!
Sega Genesis:
Kid Kamilion - I don't think this game can be beaten. Even if someone was somehow able to get to the end, the game would pull a SMB2j and warp you back to the start of the game to make you repeat it. I have nothing but anger for this endless game.
Gamecube:
F-Zero GX - this game is so awesome, but the story mode is apparently desgined for gods. The few few aren't all too hard, but the difficulty grows exponetially. I'll never be able to get back challange of the bloody chain. Bloody Hell is more like it.
Wii:
Trauma Centre Second Opinion - Savato missions on hard. 25% vitals at most? yay.
DS:
Metroid Prime Hunters - No matter how much I try to get used to the controls, I just can't. Nothing feels right.
Yeah, its retarded how you have to get the spear just right; but it seems like Jaws has to be facing sideways instead of straight out in front for it to work. ???
As for Jaws', the s is omitted, but still sounds like Jaws's. Then again, some people like to write the way they talk: convenience's/convenience'
Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! is great because of the skill - but Bald Bull? If anyone, I think Don Flamenco is the one to piss everyone off; he's annoying & takes too long to beat because he doesn't fight back sometimes. He just stands there & blocks.

Bubble Bobble - Level 57. Need I saw more?
Haha. I love it! You know, if it weren't for that level, I could beat the whole game without having to continue. Even the boss is easier than that level. :P
Either Jaws' or Jaws's is correct, both are accepted forms of a possessive. That whole game sucks, it's an LJN game after all.
Bald Bull? He's easy, you wait for him to do his charge, hit him and he's down. Tyson is easy to TKO after some practice, you just need to learn how to dodge his attacks.
For games that piss you off all you need is practice I learned that the hard way after breaking 4 nes controllers lol!
Wow, did you throw your controllers against a wall? ;D
I did, but I never managed to actually break a controller. All mine work perfectly to this very day.
And a problem with practising games that piss you off is.. well, it's hard to practise something you don't like usually. ;)

Yeah I broke them by stepping on them tossing them to the wall or the NES man I had so much rage back then. Nowadays when a game pisses me off I just turn it off and do something else.
haha! I STILL will throw a controller against a wall. I've gone through like 6 PS2 controllers it's crazy. :o
waaaaaa and those things are expensive!
:o
6 PS2 controllers?
I could never throw one when I think of how expensive those are. I mean for every one I could buy several used games in Japan. :D

OMG THE HUMANITY!
HAHA! I had trouble just tossing my crappy NASA NES controller on the ground! :D I can't imagine myself trying to throw my PS2 on the wall!
ya i had to get a grip...wii and xbox360 controllers are way more than ps2 controllers.
I have to say Deadly Tower for NES pisses me off because of bad musics and gameplay ;D
When I was young, Final Fantasy 1 pissed me off because it was so hard and I keep dying and forget to save in the INN. :-\
Yes, bad music is sure piss offing. :D Especially 1942.
Speaking of bad music, is it just me but the music in Karateka sucks!? And this game also pisses me off because of how hard it's made. I mean, when you're about to travel to the next part of the castle on level 2, the gate at the end always falls on me and kills me instantly! And you only have one life! >:(
Wow. You broke NES controllers? are you some sort of super human? The NES controllers are the most durable plastic ever. The only controller I ever broke was a N64's analog stick, because of overuse. Also the stock Gamecube controller. What is it with Nintendo's anolog sticks wearing out!? Neither my PS1 duelshock or either of my PS2 duel shock II's sticks have any signs of wear.
Nintendo should've stuck with what they did right - the D-pad. :P At least make it an alternative to the analog stick! >:( I mean, damn, they're still not doing this! I'm sure many stick-broken Nintendo fans would be happy with this... & what's up with the tiny D-pad on the GC controller? Someone needs to be fired. (http://forums.hitechcreations.com/forums/images/smilies/twisted.gif)
The thing with the Gamecube controller +pad is that its the same one on the first gen non backlit GBA. Nintendo cut corners by reusing the same part. The +pad worked well for the handheld, so it was used for the GC. Personally, I use a +pad enlarger made by interact that attaches to the +pad via a glue like substance that's nearly impossible to take off. The adaptor came as part of a whole kit I bought way back in 2001 desgined for the GBA, but I used it for my GC instead. When the Wavebird came out, I used plyers to remove it and reattached it to the pad on my wavebird, where it's stayed ever since.
