I got the FF3 one from him earlier and I have to say it's pretty nice.

Clarky, what are the chances of you being able to do a Famicom Super Mario World or 45-in-1 (JY-120 (A) or SC-120 (A), ROMs are out there) pirate repro? Mapper too weird?

Do you make the maps. I wish I had them when playing through ff2. I am about to play through 3 and I hate having to refer back to my tablet for a map. where can I get it.

@heranbago I had a look into that and sadly the mapper is different so would need to be converted to something different. That's something I don't have the time to do, unless a large quantity of people were also interested.

@ thepandaofnom You have PM.

Super Mario World can be done but I forget where the guide lives.  There would be a lot of people interested in that one - you'd sell out on NA but I think it's a lot of work.

If you remember where the guide is then please let me know. I just checked and the rom uses mapper 90 which is a custom one.

It's a Famicom game so is in NTSC format. This is the game and is an extremely good hack of the original Legend of Zelda:

:(   :'(

Is there a reason why we are making repros (actually bootlegs) of Bubble Bath Babes?  I see you are in the UK...is this some new PAL version, or is it the same as the NTSC NES version?  It is generally frowned upon to make copies of existing games, especially when they were released in the region you are making the repro for.

It is on PAL hardware but the same ROM as the US version as a PAL version doesn't exist...obviously, but for someone that doesn't have a modded system or doesn't want to mod there system to play NTSC games then this will work for them. I have completely redesigned the label and also written all over the board inside so that this couldn't ever be passed off as an original. It couldn't anyway as it wasn't even an official Nintendo release so never even came in this style cart or on the donor board that was used to make it.

If it's against forum rules then I will remove right away as I don't want to upset anyone.

I don't think it is against any forum rules, but it sort of goes against the unwritten rules of repros, where people don't want repros being made of games that came out in that region.  So it might raise some eyebrows for people, why is this being made when legitimate versions are already available.

What do you mean?  That game had an official Famicom release as well.

Why would it be considered okay?  It was released on Famicom, so I wouldn't support a Famicom release.  It were also released on NES, NTSC and PAL I think, so I wouldn't support repros of those either.

It is in PAL format, not to mention that it's also in an official NES cart with a completely different label to the original so can no way be palmed off as a genuine article. I'm pretty sure it wasn't that long ago I saw someone selling multiple multicart with all the Panesian games on in NTSC format (on NA) but no one even battered an eyelid to it. Not trying to start argument here but it does seem like one rule for one and a different for another.

Here's the multi cart:

That's cool. I think you'd pay just over half this just to get an untranslated version but you never know what you may find in the wild  ;)
