I think most Famicom games were released on a Friday so if you were born on that day then you're likely to have some. :)

Offtopic: Rygar was also the first game I had as a kid. But we returned it to our cousin, and for the longest time I couldn't remember what it was called until some friends moved into our neighborhood (who had several NES games) let me borrow it and I finally beat it. ;D

I went ahead and bought myself a copy after that for goodtimes sake.

Ontopic:

Challenger is the only Famicom game released on October 15 of any year. :( Boooo!!!!!! >:(

Apparently Kagerou Densetsu was the only Famicom game released on May 11th. It was my sixth birthday when this obscure action-RPG debuted in Japan. Kind of looks like Zelda II collided with Demon Sword.

And funnily enough, they were also released on Friday the 13th, and not just on June 13th.. And even more funny... on the same date as well.
