Just moved to Japan and am looking for a crt tv for retro gaming purposes. Preferably something small. If no one has one to sell, I would be interested in knowing where I could buy one (I live 20 min from Tokyo).
I'm not sure how often you'll get to find stuff in the trash in Japan, but it may be possible to find one on the side of the road. You can totally buy a CRT TV at the used electronics store Hard-Off.
Keep in mind, that since this year IIRC, picking things from rubbish collection spots and recycling containers prohibited and might cost you up to $3000 with penalty.
The most real, if you ride around shops like Panasonic, Toshiba etc. They usually have some old TV's around, but not sure if they wish to sell. Another option is to try junk yards
