Title: Hospital Bills
Post by: FamicomFreak on June 07, 2007, 08:13:26 am
You know I know this is off topic but my bill is over 1 grand now and I think I'm going to have to start selling my famicom carts and other stuff I have around. I need to save my pet

My dog was shitting pure blood all of a sudden last new years day. We rushed him to the emergency room, they gave him an IV and kept him over night. He had some foreign object in his stomach that he must have swallowed while at daycare. The bill was $1400. I nearly effing fainted.

My mother has a hospital bill over $3,000. :-\ I'm either going to start having to sell stuff or go to Iraq... like I'd have a choice with that last one. ::)

Dang. Sucks a bunch, guys. Both of my grandparents had the luck of both having heart attacks in the span of one year. They owe so much money, I feel bad for them. But hey, they're still here and do ok financially each month.

Sorry man....that totally sucks. I know how much a pet can mean to a person, I dunno what I would do if my dog was hurt or passed away. My condolences.  :-[

My condolences.
I know how that feels. I've lost a dog and several cats I loved through accidents.
Sounds weird, but I grieved more for a cat than for my grandmother...

jesus christ dude...really?

This saturday, my fiancee gets a telephone call. She answers it, and collapses in a heap on the floor hysterical. Her cousin, who is currently serving in Iraq, lost both legs and an arm in an IED attack.

Please, please, be careful over there man.

It's not definite, but probably starting in the January time frame.  But it might get pushed back a few months.

I really really really really suggest defecting to canada. I'm being totally serious. This war has ruined peoples lives. I dont want you to die from this, Jedi.

Where you see danger, I see opportunity.  It will be a change of scenery & a good way to test my faith.  I don't want to hear anything more about exiling.

Either way, I respect your courage going out there. Just watch your ass out in the field and get home safe man.

Will you take a Famicom and games with you?

All the people I know who went to war took Playstations and Xboxes. A Famicom would be a nice change I guess.

I don't have a Famicom... yet. :P

I'll bring my laptop, though.  If Smash Bros. Brawl is out by then I'll buy a Wii & some controllers.  I'm sure I'll find some people who'll be into that.

A Wii would be fine, too I guess. ;D
That is if you can find one.
I expect that sales go up when Smash Brothers is released. :-\

We've now totally hijacked this thread... :-X

My cousin recently returned from Afghanistan. The war there isn't as dangerous, but he stayed safe and came back with positive memories from a unique place he would've never had the chance to visit except through the US military. That kind of situation really shapes the person you become.

I appreciate your service, Jedi. :)

PS -- Buy a Famicom already! Geez. :D
